In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while accurately handling a variety of banking transactions. Your expertise will support customer satisfaction, ensure compliance with banking regulations, and promote the bank’s financial products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, technical proficiency in banking software, and a solid understanding of financial regulations to deliver reliable and efficient service.ResponsibilitiesProcess cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments with accuracy and efficiencyManage cash drawer handling and reconcile cash balances at the end of each shiftAssist customers with account inquiries, account openings, and basic banking needsPromote banking products and services through upselling and relationship managementDetect and prevent fraud by monitoring suspicious activity and adhering to security protocolsSupport loan origination processes by collecting documentation and assisting with application proceduresMaintain compliance with financial regulations and industry standards related to banking operationsUtilize banking software and Microsoft Office tools for record keeping, reporting, and data entryHandle customer relationships professionally to foster trust and loyaltyEnsure adherence to cash management policies, debits & credits processing, and retail math accuracySkillsProven experience in customer relationship management within a banking or financial environmentStrong knowledge of banking products, financial sales, and industry regulationsProficiency in banking software, Microsoft Office applications, and technical tools relevant to financial servicesExcellent cash handling skills including cashiering, processing cash transactions, and managing cash drawersBasic math skills including retail math, decimal calculations, and 10-key typing proficiencyAbility to detect fraud prevention opportunities while maintaining high standards of financial complianceEffective relationship management skills to build rapport with diverse clientsKnowledge of industry standards for financial compliance, banking regulatory requirements, and financial software systemsThis position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals committed to delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the operational excellence of our bank.
