We are currently seeking an experienced Call Center Representative for a credit union located in Long Beach, CA.

Type: Full-time, temporary (6 months)

Pay: $21/hr

Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 9:30am - 6:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional service to members via phone in a call center, assisting with inquiries, transactions, and account resolution.
• Handle a variety of member requests including account inquiries, transfers, stop payments, loan payments, disputes (ACH/Share Draft/Cards), and general product information.
• Educate members on Credit Union products, services, and digital banking tools to enhance their banking experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member concerns, including escalated or complex inquiries.
• Accurately document interactions and follow up as needed to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

• Previous financial call center experience in a bank or credit union is required.
• Experience with Symitar banking software is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate communication and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of customer requests including difficult customer situations.
• Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
