A growing law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience in bankruptcy litigation to join its team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling federal bankruptcy litigation matters and a strong foundation in complex legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in federal bankruptcy litigation proceedings
Handle contested matters and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
Attend hearings, depositions, and court appearances
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex bankruptcy matters
Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality work
Qualifications:
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar (required)
2–5 years of experience in bankruptcy law and litigation
Proven experience in federal bankruptcy litigation (required)
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience handling adversary proceedings and contested bankruptcy matters
Familiarity with federal court procedures and rules
Strong attention to detail and client-focused mindset
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $145,000, based on experience
