We are looking for an experienced Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to manage a variety of bankruptcy cases, from initial filings to court appearances. You'll work closely with clients and internal legal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant case handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and approve bankruptcy pleadings.
Handle all stages of bankruptcy matters, including:
Proofs of Claim
Motions for Relief
Objections and Responses
Payment Change Notices
Settlements and Adversary Proceedings
Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and hearings (telephonic and in-person).
Maintain regular communication and updates with clients.
Support special projects and additional legal tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) and active licensure in good standing with the Georgia State Bars.
Experience managing a high-volume bankruptcy caseload.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Professional, client-service mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with adversary proceedings, payment change notices, or mediation.
Familiarity with legal case management systems and client portals.
Availability to attend in-person court hearings or depositions as needed.
Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
