Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join their downtown Houston, TX office. This position is open to both on-track and off-track candidates, including those seeking a reduced hour schedule. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.Duties Assist clients across various industries in distressed financial situations.Represent clients in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcies, including complex cases.Handle complex workouts and restructurings.Review client documents and advise on asset protection.Assist with case preparation, legal research, and courtroom support.Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Communicate with Trustees, Bankruptcy Courts, and Debtors' Attorneys.Attend creditor meetings and court hearings.Requirements Licensed to practice in Texas.Minimum 5 years of experience in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented and a critical thinker.Excellent business judgment and professionalism.Strong academic credentials and writing skills.Ability to interact with clients and develop relationships.Track record of high achievement and teamwork.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas.Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Ability to manage complex cases and multitask.Benefits Health, life, disability, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) retirement plan.#J-18808-Ljbffr
