Role Description:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Junior to Mid-level Bankruptcy & Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our client's dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will handle a variety of day-to-day tasks including drafting legal documents, conducting research, attending court hearings and trials, and participating in depositions. This role requires close collaboration with clients and colleagues to provide effective legal representation.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft legal documents and correspondence related to bankruptcy and commercial litigation.- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.- Attend court hearings, trials, and depositions, effectively representing clients.- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop case strategies.- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to case management.- Maintain detailed and organized case files and documentation.
Qualifications:- Experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, motions, and court procedures.- Proven ability to handle trials and depositions confidently.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong written and oral communication skills.- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.- Admission to the State Bar of Texas.- Prior experience in a law firm or a similar legal environment is preferred.
