Role Overview


We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage a high-volume caseload, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.


The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with attorneys, consumers, and external partners.


Key Responsibilities


·       Monitor daily scrubs for potential bankruptcy, decreased and active duty military.


·       Prepare, file, and track pleadings for Creditor’s rights bankruptcy cases.  


·       Draft and review legal documents, including but not limited to Proofs of Claim, Reaffirmation Agreements, Motions for Relief from Stay, and Payment Change Notices


·       Analyze bankruptcy plans, schedules, and case dockets for accuracy and compliance


·       Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines


·       Communicate effectively with courts, trustees, clients, and opposing counsel


·       Maintain accurate case records and internal tracking systems


·       Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules, as well as client guidelines


Required Qualifications


·       Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred, but not required
·       2+ years of experience in bankruptcy or creditor’s rights preferred
·       Strong understanding of bankruptcy procedures and CM/ECF filing systems
·       Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
·       Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
·       Strong written and verbal communication skills
·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with case management software is a plus
