Banquet Captain

The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center is hiring an experienced Server/Trainer to take a leadership role in coordinating food service at events held in our beautiful ballrooms. Position is full-time, with both day and evening hours based on events. Must have weekend availability. Requires banquet server experience and the ability to coach staff to provide exceptional guest service. Wage $15/hr + gratuity. Requirements:

• Banquet server experience is required, preferably in a Captain or Trainer role.
• Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate staff assignments, pace of service and teamwork.
• Assist in resolving guest concerns.

• Participate in room and buffet set up.

• Serve plated food or buffet style for breakfast meetings, luncheons, weddings, banquets, etc.

• Restock banquet buffets.
• Stand for the entire shift.

• Lift and carry trays with 8-10 meals and serve them to guests; clear tables.
