Weekly Hours: 30hrs/week

Job Description:

• Assisting with leading events in the catering department which includes primarily responsible for set up, service, break down and cleanup of functions or areas on campus.
• Gathering and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations. Cleans and packs unused food dishes, utensils and equipment for safe removal to appropriate locations, handles trash and waste properly.
• Helping the guests find what they need, while keeping all work areas looking clean and tidy.
• Will also assist with prepping for events, working events and general duties required for catering dept.
• Acting as the central liaison between event hosts, kitchen staff, and service teams, they ensure functions strictly adhere to the designated event. Assist in setting up and breaking down of events.
• Acts as the main point of contact to immediately resolve guest complaints or sudden logistical changes.
• Requires 1 3+ years of hospitality experience and proven leadership
• Must be able to stand during duration of events.

Background preferred: Prior catering or lead experience

• Could have worked at a country club, marketing events or even a supervisor of staff in food service.
