The Banquet Captain is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and executing banquet and event service to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment while upholding service and brand standards. HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE - Assess banquet schedules and arrange additional staffing as needed to ensure efficient operations and service.
- Lead banquet setup, including table arrangements, seating, and dcor, to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Develop and execute organized service plans, ensuring timely, professional, and courteous delivery of each course.
- Supervise, schedule, and train banquet staff to maintain service readiness and smooth event execution.
- Greet guests, anticipate their needs, and oversee seamless meal pacing and transitions throughout the event.
- Support daily banquet operations by assisting with event setup, service, and overall execution.
- Monitor banquet checks to ensure accuracy, financial accountability, and compliance with company policies.
- Track, maintain, and properly store banquet equipment to ensure inventory control and equipment readiness.
- Follow security, safety, emergency, and energy-efficiency procedures to protect guests, staff, and company resources.
- Serve as Banquet Manager when needed, overseeing departmental operations
- Other duties as assigned.

- TIPS certification and Food Safety certification required.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional coursework or certification in hospitality, event management, or a related field preferred.
