  • Lead and manage all banquet kitchen operations for high-volume events and catered functions.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise food preparation and production to ensure consistency, quality, and timely execution.
  • Execute banquet menus for events ranging from VIP dining experiences to large-scale events.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership on menu development, seasonal offerings, and specialty event menus.
  • Maintain exceptional food presentation and adherence to luxury hospitality standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop culinary team members.
  • Monitor labor, food costs, waste, and inventory to achieve budgetary goals and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards are consistently maintained.
  • Participate in hiring, scheduling, performance management, and training of banquet culinary staff.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in a full-service food and beverage operation (or other alternative as deemed appropriate).
  • Strong knowledge of banquet production, food presentation, and elevated dining standards.
  • Experience managing large-scale events with multiple simultaneous functions.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with inventory and labor management systems.
