Banquet Head Houseperson

The Banquet Head Houseperson will set up all meetings, meal functions and audio visual equipment in accordance with hotel and company policies.

HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Supervise the banquet setup team and oversee shift operations to ensure all event spaces are prepared for upcoming business.
• Complete assigned tasks and follow all instructions from supervisors or shift leaders.
• Ensure all water, amenities, audio-visual and breaks are in the room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
• Respond to guest requests for additional equipment and supplies, communicate applicable charges, and notify supervisors for accurate billing.
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests professionally and responding promptly to their needs.
• Set up, maintain, and clean meeting and banquet rooms according to company and hotel standards.
• Refresh meeting rooms during breaks by replenishing supplies, replacing linens and water service, and removing trash.
• Assist with banquet meal service and event breakdown to support efficient operations.
• Help obtain signed banquet guest checks and submit them to the front office for accurate posting and billing.
• Follow all safety and energy conservation procedures while performing other assigned duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• HS Diploma or equivalent
