Wedding & Event Maître D' / Banquet Manager
The Briarcliff Manor, one of Westchester's premier wedding and event venues, is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team.Local Candidates Only
We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates and are looking for the right person to help lead exceptional weddings and events.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with banquet, catering, restaurant, or event management experience who enjoys working directly with clients, vendors, and staff to create unforgettable guest experiences.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading wedding and event execution from setup through breakdown
- Managing event staff and ensuring service standards are met
- Coordinating with clients, vendors, and venue teams
- Overseeing event timelines and day-of operations
- Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout each event
- Assisting with staff training and operational improvements
- Supporting sales tours and client meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Significant banquet, catering, restaurant, or event management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
This position is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional looking for either a long-term full-time opportunity or flexible part-time event work.
