Banquet Server and Bartender - Hotel Events

We are seeking a hospitality-focused team member to support to support hotel events including catered functions, private celebrations, corporate retreats and conferences. This role combines banquet service with as needed bar service responsibilities, helping create a polished and memorable experience for every guest. The ideal candidate brings a warm, professional presence, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced event environment

What You Will Do

• Set up, service, and break down banquet rooms, event spaces, and bar stations according to event requirements and hotel standards.
• Provide timely, courteous food and beverage service during meetings, receptions, weddings, private events, and other functions.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly while following all applicable laws, hotel policies, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation standards throughout the event and at closing.
• Work closely with banquet leadership, kitchen staff, and fellow team members to ensure smooth event execution.
• Monitor guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and resolve service issues professionally and discreetly.
• Accurately handle payment processing, tabs, and cash procedures when required.
• Restock supplies, glassware, linens, and beverage inventory as needed.
• Follow all responsible alcohol service procedures, including checking identification when appropriate.
• Support additional hospitality duties as assigned to help deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous banquet, restaurant, catering, bar, or hotel service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, welcoming approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, event-driven environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and remain active throughout shifts.
• Comfort working evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules based on event demand.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain composure under pressure, and adapt to changing event needs.
