The CAD Banquet Server is responsible for setting up and executing catered events and meetings in a professional and efficient manner both on and off-site, providing a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for setting up the banquet room and guest tables as specified
- Responsible for proper transportation, clean up and storage of all catering equipment and utensils both on and off-site
- Responsible for proper and safe transportation of food and if there shall be any food remaining responsible for proper disposal or restocking of reusable items
- Must be able to follow all company rules and description of job weather working on or off-site
- Must have a flexible work schedule and willing to work on all holidays and most weekends
- Must be able to travel off-site for catering and events and still hold a high standard when doing so
- Provides food and beverage service to our guests
- Observes guests to ensure they are satisfied with food, beverages and service
- Responds to the guests needs in a friendly and efficient manner
- Removes and resets dishes and silverware as needed throughout the event
- Clears the table and removes linens when the event is finished
- Remove and properly store the table skirting
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Must follow all safety rules and regulations
- Follow all general and department policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members
- Ability to use applicable Point of Sale
- Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills
- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
- Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
