Banquet Server I (Catering)

• Set-up banquet rooms and events as assigned including pre-event set-up, service and clean up of all assigned functions.
• Serve food and beverage according to the Banquet Event Order, ensuring all event meet or exceed client expectations.
• Maintain proper food and beverage presentation.
• Work to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Scrapes and sorts dirty dishes, silverware and glassware and operates dishwashing machines.
• Maintains cleanliness of dining room and kitchen areas; sweeps, mops and vacuums floors; cleans dishes from tables and cleans dining room tables and chairs.
• Responsible for cleaning of employee and public restrooms and operates power cleaning equipment.
• Operates and cleans food service equipment.
• Inventories area and completes required forms.
• Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work area.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards.
• Skills in using cleaning products and equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift a maximum of 50lbs.
