    We are seeking a
    Banquets Server

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned)

    • Setting-up banquet spaces to meet function specifications.
    • Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.  Responding to requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
    • Delivering and serving food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments.
    • Cleaning meeting spaces, including, but not limited to removing service items, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping areas, and washing walls before and after events.

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

    • Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
    • Constantly moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
    • Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
    • Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
    • Constantly adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
    • Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
    • Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
    • Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.
    • Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Occasionally performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
    • Constantly performing light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
    • Constantly performing medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
    • Occasionally performing heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.

    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

    • Occasionally exposed to cold temperatures (i.e. walk-in coolers and freezers).
    • Occasionally exposed to high temperatures (i.e. kitchens and prep areas).
    • Constantly exposed to noisy environments (i.e. music and noise from wedding receptions).
    • Occasionally exposed to small and/or enclosed spaces.
    SCHEDULE
    • Schedule varies based on event schedules.
    • Frequently works evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
    • Some schedule flexibility is available, however, restricted availability may limit the number of hours scheduled since work load is based on events.
    COMPENSATION
    • $7.50 per hour base pay plus tips.
    • $15.00 - $30.00 additional per hour is the expected average pay, including gratuity.
    • $500 bonus after your first 90 days.
