Job Description Summary

Serve meals to patrons for banquet and catering functions.

Job Description

·       Always Adhere to Stay Safe with Sonesta safety guidelines.

·       Prepare function room for banquet function; set tables and place settings.

·       Serve drink of choice to guests.

·       Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.

·       Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.

·       Suggest desserts, beverages and after dinner drinks.

·       Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee and perform other services as needed.

·       Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course.

·       Adhere to Sonesta Service Standards.

·       Adhere to all Sonesta Safety and Sanitation Standards.

·       May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays

·       Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.

·       Perform other duties or projects as requested by management.

Pay Range

$9.39 to $11.39 per hour/ Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
