Job Summary Our team is seeking a Banquet Server to ensure the highest level of service for our guests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and courtesy with a keen focus on prompt and efficient service delivery. As a Banquet Server you will play a pivotal role in upholding our standards of excellence in hospitality ensuring that every guests experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities Adhere to the sequence of service for every guest ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience. Set up banquet spaces and ensure cleanliness. Acquire in-depth knowledge of menu items specials and pricing facilitating informed and helpful interactions with guests. Serve food and beverages at various banquet events on the Casino floor providing attentive and efficient service. Take precise orders maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrate familiarity with the current wine list and exhibit a strong understanding of different wine varieties. Uphold and set examples of high standards in appearance and work ethic contributing to a professional and polished work environment. Ensure a clean and sanitary work area at all times emphasizing the importance of hygiene and cleanliness. Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously showcasing strong conflict resolution skills.
Qualifications Outstanding interpersonal communication skills in English enabling effective interaction with both guests and team members. Capability to work effectively under pressure maintaining composure and delivering exceptional service during busy periods. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. Friendly cooperative and helpful demeanor with a commitment to maintaining a neat and well-groomed appearance. Ability to complete R.A.M.P. Responsible Alcohol Management Program certification. Strong teamwork skills demonstrating a cooperative and supportive approach to achieving shared goals. Willingness to complete the pre-employment process and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
