Banquet Server

Banquet Servers are responsible for providing courteous, professional, and efficient food and beverage service during banquet and catered events while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing "Can Do" attitude and genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations.

Must be available to work flexible schedules, including:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms according to service standards
• Prepare tables with linens, china, glassware, flatware, and condiments
• Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
• Retrieve and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with company and state regulations
• Open and serve wine and champagne as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet stations and service areas
• Clear tables, remove soiled dishes, and assist with breakdown and cleanup after events
• Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, friendly service
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards
• Assist with room turnovers and additional banquet duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
• Minimum 6 months of serving experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to maintain professionalism during busy or high-pressure situations
• Basic food, beverage, and wine knowledge preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• CA Food Handlers Card required
• Alcohol Training (TIPS / ServSafe) required
• RBS Certification required

Compensation: $19 an hour.
