It's Our Pleasure Hospitality Group owns The Vanderbilt, Arirang, Grand Oaks, Grand Plaza, and South Fin Grill. Position Overview:

The Banquet Server provides professional and timely food and beverage service to guests during events and functions. The role includes setting up banquet rooms, serving meals and beverages, responding to guest requests, and maintaining clean and organized event spaces. Banquet Servers work with team members to help ensure smooth event execution and a positive guest experience. The position requires a courteous, upbeat, and positive approach while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and service standards.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms with tables, linens, place settings, and event décor.

• Provide professional and timely food and beverage service to guests.

• Carry trays, serve plated meals, and refill beverages as needed.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a courteous demeanor.

• Clear tables and keep work areas clean, neat, and organized.

• Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, and resetting for future functions.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, health, and venue service standards.

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth event execution.

Requirements:

• Required: Previous restaurant service experience.

• Preferred: High-end banquet server experience.

• Demonstrate knowledge of fine dining and table setup.

• Ability to lift and carry a tray of 10–12 serving plates or beverages.

• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 pounds.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to bend and climb stairs.

• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Pay Range: USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
