RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up meeting rooms, banquets, and exhibition halls according to contracted specifications of the department. Exhibit a professional and courteous attitude toward all guests of the hotel at all times.

DUTIES: Include, but are not limited to:

1. Set up all facilities according to departmental standards and contracts.

2. Sets up banquet rooms completely, including all equipment within the specified time.

3. Checks all storerooms for packages and/or equipment for meetings and functions.

4. Be in proper uniform at all times

5. Report all maintenance items of the department to the immediate supervisor.

6. Maintain all back of the housework areas.

7. Maintains function rooms, banquet equipment, furniture, and storage areas.

8. Breaks down equipment and leaves room in proper order.

9. Reports needed repairs of equipment, furniture, and fixtures to Head Houseman.

10. Assists in other related departmental duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekends as needed
