The Opportunity

Like staying active and working with your hands?

Oak Hill Country Club is looking for an Event Setup & Breakdown Associate to join our team year-round. This is a hands-on, physically active position supporting weddings, banquets, tournaments, member events, and special functions throughout the club.

This is not a desk job. Much of your day will be spent on your feet moving tables, chairs, equipment, and event materials, setting up spaces before events and breaking them down afterward. If you enjoy physical work, working as part of a team, and seeing the results of your work come together, this could be a great fit.

No banquet experience is required-we''re willing to train the right person.

Pay & Position Details

$17-$18 per hour

• Year-round position

• Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

• Schedule: Shifts may be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., depending on event and business needs. Weekend availability is required.

What You''ll Do

• Set up and break down banquet rooms, event spaces, and outdoor areas

• Move and arrange tables, chairs, staging, equipment, linens, and other event materials

• Push carts and transport equipment throughout the club

• Prepare event spaces according to setup diagrams and event specifications

• Break down events and return furniture and equipment to storage areas

• Keep banquet spaces, hallways, and storage areas clean, organized, and ready for the next event

• Work closely with Banquet Managers and other team members to ensure events are set up properly and on time

• Assist with moving furniture and equipment throughout the club

• Follow safe lifting, moving, and equipment-handling practices

• Assist with other event and club support duties as needed

What We''re Looking For

We''re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, comfortable with physical work, and enjoys being part of a team.

• No prior banquet or hospitality experience required; we are willing to train

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Reliable and dependable

• Comfortable working at a steady physical pace throughout a shift

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, lift, and carry throughout the workday

• Ability to safely move furniture and equipment, including heavier items

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed

• Able to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
