Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Banquet Setup Supervisor to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all arrangements meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the setup and teardown of banquet events according to event specifications and timelines.
• Lead, train, and motivate banquet setup staff to ensure efficient and accurate execution of tasks.
• Inspect banquet rooms and event spaces to ensure cleanliness, proper arrangement, and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with event planners, catering staff, and management to ensure seamless event operations.
• Manage inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Address and resolve any setup-related issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain clear communication with all team members and other departments involved in event execution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet setup, event coordination, or hospitality supervision preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Good physical stamina to handle lifting and moving banquet equipment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in event settings.
