The Bartender shall mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Takes orders from guests and Servers
Maintains complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, specials and mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
Maintains a complete awareness of cocktail and drink recipes and production methods
Maintains a complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnish for each drink
Maintains knowledgeable of different types of alcoholic beverages and their methods of production
Inspects cleanliness and condition of assigned stations and associated public space and rectifies any deficiencies
Greets guests and takes orders utilizing suggestive selling and up-selling techniques
Utilizes Call Order procedures when preparing orders for Servers
Continuously maintains cleanliness and organization of bars, bottle displays, coolers and station equipment

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
One (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience- required
OR six (6) months’ experience within the Beverage Department at WCH- required
Willingness and ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
Demonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats
Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
Must successfully complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service, and TIPS training
Must successfully complete ServeSafe Sanitation training
Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
Base Pay:
Compensation: $9.00 - $13.15 per hour, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.
