Bar Cook

Bar Cook | $13.50-$15.00 + tip share

Part-time | 10am-2pm or 5pm-8pm

A local golf course is seeking an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented Bar Cook to join their culinary team and keep their golfers fueled and happy!

Responsibilities: 

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, season, and cook a variety of menu items including burgers, sandwiches, wings, flatbreads, and specialized golf-turn snacks.

• Speed & Efficiency: Execute orders quickly and accurately, recognizing that golfers are often on a tight schedule between holes or eager to eat after an 18-hole round.

• Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation. Follow all food safety and health department guidelines.

• Inventory & Stocking: Monitor food inventory, restock stations for peak hours, and assist with receiving deliveries.

• Teamwork: Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff (bartenders and servers) to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a line cook, short-order cook, or bar cook (golf course or country club experience is a major plus!).

• Skills: Strong knife skills, proficiency with grills, fryers, and flat-tops, and the ability to multi-task under pressure.

• Certifications: Valid Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).

• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays (golfers love holiday weekends!).

• Attitude: A positive, team-first attitude with a passion for serving great food.
