BARBACK JOB DESCRIPTION HAVASU LANDING CASINO
DEPARTMENT: BAR REPORTS TO: FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR
PAY RATE: $15.00/HOUR
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 years of age or older and qualify for a gaming license.
Cannot be convicted of a felony
Ability to qualify for a food handler’s card or serve safe certification.
Ability to qualify for responsible beverage server.
Ability to work flexible hours and take direction from management
Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace
Requires good verbal and communications skills
Must have complete knowledge of legal requirements and liquor laws including gaming regulations as they apply to the food and beverage operations
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to five (5) hours in length
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift 60 pounds, must be able to reach above shoulders frequently and repetitively
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ability to slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks, wash and sterilize glassware
Help always maintain a clean work environment, ensures ashtrays are always clean
Keep Co2 tanks, change bag in the box soda, get ice, change out kegs, etc.
Must be flexible and be able to work Holidays, weekends, days, and nights
All duties as assigned
