Barback

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar inventory; transfer inventory from storage to bar area
• Clear and reset tables/bar areas
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of bar/storage area/bathrooms
• Assist bartenders with customer service needs
• Perform opening/closing responsibilities
• Practice safe handling and cleanliness standards at all times
• Actively participates in the company's social media program by posting/sharing company fliers to personal social media accounts, if available
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Must be 18 years of age minimum
• Experience in Barback position or bar/restaurant environment preferred
• Alcohol awareness training preferred 
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is continuously standing during the entire shift. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; stoop; bend; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
