Barback

Barbacks are responsible for supporting the bar team by keeping the bar, dining space, and service areas clean, stocked, organized, and running efficiently throughout service. Barbacks help maintain guest-facing spaces, collect and wash glassware and bar tools, stock beer and supplies, prepare small food plates, and develop product knowledge to assist guests when needed.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Must work with a strong sense of urgency. 

• Maintain a clean, organized environment during busy service.

• Keep bar top and tables clean by clearing empty glassware, dining ware, and sanitizing tables.

• Wash glassware and bar tools throughout service.

• Put clean glassware away in the proper designated areas.

• Monitor and empty garbage behind the bar, kitchen and on the floor.

• Check coolers to ensure all juices and syrups are prepped and stocked for service.

• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and guest areas.

• Prepare small plates for guests, such as meat and cheese boards.

• Build product knowledge to better support the bar team and assist guests when needed.
