The Barback is responsible for supporting bartenders and ensuring the bar operates efficiently during service. This role assists with stocking, cleanliness, organization, and maintaining an exceptional guest experience through behind-the-scenes support and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Assist bartenders with daily bar operations and guest service support
• Stock and replenish liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and supplies throughout shifts
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all bar areas, storage spaces, and service stations
• Remove empty bottles, trash, and used glassware promptly and safely
• Wash and polish glassware and maintain cleanliness of bar equipment
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties
• Refill ice bins and maintain adequate supply levels during service
• Support beverage preparation by cutting garnishes, preparing mixers, and organizing products
• Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, kitchen team members, and leadership
• Respond quickly to operational needs in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times

What are we looking for?

Who You Are

• Previous restaurant, barback, or food & beverage experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude during high-volume periods
• Food Safety Certification and Wisconsin Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed
• Bartender license for Wisconsin Dells area required
