Barback - Matchbox VA

Overview:

Are you ready to join the vibrant team at Matchbox, where great food and great times come together? As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the bar. Your primary responsibility will be to assist bartenders and ensure that they have everything that is needed to provide efficient and high-quality service to customers. With our craveable food, destination drinks, and diverse menu, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge and passion for our offerings. You must be at least 18 years of age for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Keep the bar stocked with drinks, mixers, and supplies for bartenders.
• Prepare garnishes and set up stations before opening.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Assist bartenders during busy times by fetching ingredients and helping with drink preparation.
• Wash glassware and utensils as needed.
• Maintain bar equipment and report issues if they arise.
• Dispose of waste and keep the area tidy.
