Position Summary:
A barback assists bartenders by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, clean, and organized. They play a key role in maintaining efficiency during service and helping deliver a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and free of clutter
- Wash and polish glassware and bar tools
- Refill ice bins and change kegs when needed
- Remove trash and recycling from bar areas
- Assist bartenders with basic drink prep (e.g., cutting fruit, preparing garnishes)
- Monitor inventory levels and notify staff when supplies run low
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support opening and closing duties
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina (lifting, standing for long periods)
- Basic knowledge of bar operations is a plus, but not required
- Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
