Description:
Byron Center Trinity Health Medical Center Byron Center Cafe. Provides food and beverage services in a small urgent care or clinic café setting while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Delivers excellent customer service and supports daily café operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Service
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages
- Prepare light food items (snacks, sandwiches, packaged meals)
- Maintain quality and consistency of beverages and food
Cleanliness & Sanitation
- Keep café and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Clean equipment, counters, and seating areas regularly
Customer Service
- Greet patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer requests and resolve minor concerns
Operations Support
- Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
- Restock supplies, beverages, and food items
- Monitor inventory and notify supervisors of shortages
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience
- Previous barista, café, or food service experience preferred
- Customer service experience required
