The Barista position at the Roosevelt Market also includes responsibilities as Counter Service Staff. In addition to crafting coffee drinks, you'll be involved in assembling sandwiches and salads as well as taking customer orders at the counter.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*MUST be 19 and older, with a TIPS certification for alcohol service as a cashier
Welcome guests warmly by smiling and making eye contact
Provide outstanding hospitality and service to all guests
Maintain solid product knowledge to answer questions and make order suggestions
Complete daily prep tasks given
Set up and maintain a clean workstation and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Take food orders, enter order information into the point-of-sale terminal, and process payments accurately
Constantly monitor and maintain food standards for recipe production, appearance, correctness, quality, and safety
Handle guest concerns and special requests by listening; informing a manager; and helping to resolve issues
Constantly move throughout the kitchen and market
Assist with bussing and resetting tables
Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
Assist with every facet of front of the house procedures to ensure an outstanding guest experience
Assist in stocking, dish upkeep, and general cleaning
Take out trash and boxes
Support team members including leadership
Execute effective communication skills
Exude positive attitude under stress
Contribute to a fun and professional work environment
Ability to execute follow-through
