Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa is a 462‑room property located between Fort Myers and Naples, overlooking Estero Bay. The resort features extensive meeting space, multiple dining options, an 18‑hole championship golf course, a semi‑private island and beach, and a 3‑acre pool complex with a lazy river and waterslides. Guests enjoy four pools, private cabanas, a 24‑hour StayFit Gym, and the relaxing Stillwater Spa.

Position Description

At Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, our Retail Attendants create a welcoming and memorable shopping experience for guests visiting Cool Beans Market. This role is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while assisting guests with a variety of offerings, including fresh coffee, bakery items, salads, sandwiches, locally made ice cream, souvenirs, sundries, and resort essentials. The ideal candidate is energetic, guest-focused, and passionate about delivering personalized service while maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly, engaging shopping experience.

• Assist guests with retail purchases, food and beverage selections, and resort convenience items.

• Prepare and serve coffee, bakery items, ice cream, and other grab-and-go offerings according to Hyatt standards.

• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process transactions.

• Maintain knowledge of store products, including souvenirs, sunscreen, cooler rentals, games, snacks, beverages, and local specialty items.

• Provide recommendations on popular offerings, including fresh bakery treats, grad and go food items and locally made ice cream.

• Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and ensure product displays are attractive and fully maintained.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to leadership.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout the retail space.

• Assist with receiving and merchandising products.

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and care.

• Support resort-wide service initiatives while delivering Hyatt's commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Previous retail, food service, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to provide outstanding guest service in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable operating a point-of-sale system and handling cash transactions.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, or move merchandise as needed.

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

• Must be able to support Hyatt's purpose by identifying opportunities to display authentic human care to guests and colleagues so they can be their best
