Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista/ Counter to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the bakery prepare pastry order and prepare coffee orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their visit and time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about pastries and coffee, is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. We are looking for morning/evening availability. Must be able to arrive at 6am. Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities: 

• Welcome customers into the bakery with a smile
• Take food and beverage orders
• Explain the menu items to customers
• Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
• Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
• Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications: 

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods

The position is an hourly pay rate plus tips.
