You are applying to work with a franchisee of Scooter's Coffee. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set own terms of employment, including wage and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store.
• Handle cash transactions, perform basic math calculations for sales and change, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
• Follow food safety guidelines during food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while maintaining quality service standards.

Qualifications

• Morning availability starting at 5:15am is a plus, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy.
• Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
