We are looking for a friendly, fast-paced, and customer-focused Barista to join our team at The Pink Door Coffee inside the Palm Springs Airport. As a Barista, you will craft high-quality coffee beverages and provide excellent service to travelers from around the world. Working in an airport setting requires strong attention to detail, adherence to security protocols, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Location: Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) 3400 E Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Spring, CA 92262

Schedule: Mandatory weekend availability

Pay: $16.50/hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to customer specifications.
• Operate coffee machines and related equipment efficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and customer areas.
• Restock supplies such as cups, lids, milk, and syrups.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner; resolve customer concerns when necessary.
• Follow all airport and store safety, sanitation, and security guidelines.
• Process payments using a POS system and accurately handle cash/credit transactions.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ Years in retail sales and Coffee Bar/Food Service Establishment
• Barista and Coffee Bar Experience, specifically making specialty coffee and food
• Experience in starting conversations with total strangers
• TAM Card may be required depending upon location
• Additional Security clearance may be required depending upon location
• Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing May be required depending upon location
