Part-Time Barista at Hill House Home
Hill House is seeking a Part-Time Barista at our Charleston store to become a pivotal part of our Hill House family. In this role, youll serve not only as a brand ambassador but also as a key player in building relationships, both internally and externally, to cultivate an unparalleled service culture. We are looking for a warm, professional, and dynamic associate to help drive our cafés sales performance and help ensure operational excellence, by assisting the Café Manager.
What Youll Do:
• Drive Excellence in Sales & Service: Active role in engaging with clients, ensuring the highest level of service is provided and client experience goals are met. • Greeting customers in a friendly manner • Answer customer questions regarding menu choices • Promote and recommend menu items
Operations:
• Assist in the smooth running of cafe operations, adhering to policies and procedures, and maintaining operational standards to meet brand standards continually. • Assist in managing inventory effectively, ensuring stock levels are aligned with sales goals. • Assist in maintaining equipment - espresso machine, coffee brewer, coffee grinder, etc.
Who You Are:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant setting Experience performing in a fast-paced environment with fastidious attention to detail Self-motivated with exceptional communication and a motivational attitude High degree of flexibility and initiative Embraces a culture of learning and advocacy Has lived experiences with people from different backgrounds and diverse teams Flexibility to work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Hourly Rate: $20+/Hr
