Scooter's Coffee Barista
The Barista is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of coffee and other beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will be a key member of our team, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all our customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance with menu items and recommendations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to company standards.
- Learn and follow all recipes and preparation methods.
- Maintain knowledge of our coffee menu and offerings.
- Ensure beverages are prepared to the highest quality standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment.
- Workspace Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and surrounding areas.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Stock and replenish supplies as needed.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in team training and development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and equipment preferred.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred.
- Experience with coffee preparation and equipment a plus.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Other:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
