Role Description

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and care.

• Operate POS systems such as Square POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, order processing, and cash handling.
• \n
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
• \n
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food properly, preparing simple food items, and adhering to health regulations.
• \n
• Manage cash register operations including cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and accurate cash handling.
• \n
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling food items and maintaining inventory levels.
• \n
• Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking efficiently to keep service smooth.

Qualifications

• \n
• Prior barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred but not required.
• \n
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is advantageous.
• \n
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• \n
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform retail math confidently.
• \n
• Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and basic health regulations.
• \n
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• \n
• Experience in food service or café environments is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• \n
