Barista

Espresso Cielo is an independent caf in Downtown Santa Monica serving specialty coffee, breakfast and lunch in a busy, high-volume environment.

We re looking for a Barista / Cafe Team Member who can provide genuinely good hospitality while keeping up with the pace of a busy cafe. This is a hands-on position that includes espresso preparation, customer service, register, food running, restocking, cleaning, and helping the rest of the team wherever needed.

• Previous cafe, restaurant, or customer-service experience ismandatory
  

Specialty coffee experience is important, but attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well with a team matter just as much.

We want people who take their work seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Our goal is to create a caf that is welcoming to customers, supportive for the people working in it, and consistently good even when there s a line out the door.
