About Maison Parisienne
Maison Parisienne is an authentic French café and market inspired by the charm, hospitality, and elegance of European cafés. We are seeking professional, hospitality-focused team members to join our growing team and serve guests in our dining room and newly opened patio.
This is not a seasonal position. We are looking for individuals seeking stable, long-term employment who take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Our atmosphere is refined, friendly, and service-oriented. We are not a sports bar or nightlife venue. We value professionalism, attention to detail, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.
Position Summary
As a Server / Café Team Member, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking guest orders, serving food and beverages, preparing coffee and alcoholic drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience.
This is a hands-on hospitality position requiring teamwork, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced café environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously
- Prepare coffee, espresso-based beverages, cocktails, wine, and other alcoholic beverages
- Run food from the kitchen to guests promptly
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests quickly
- Process guest payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, patio, beverage stations, and service areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Uphold Maison Parisienne's standards of hospitality and professionalism
Qualifications
Required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work weekends and a minimum of three weekdays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies safely
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain before employment)
- BASSET Certification (or ability to obtain before employment)
Preferred
- Previous serving experience
- Restaurant, café, coffee shop, wine bar, or hospitality experience
- Experience preparing coffee, espresso beverages, cocktails, wine, or beer service
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling

Appearance & Uniform Standards
To maintain the atmosphere and brand standards of Maison Parisienne:
- Team members must wear clean, professional attire approved by management
- Earth-tone or white tops are required
- Black pants or clean, professional blue jeans are permitted
- Closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required
- Long hair must be secured as required by food safety standards
- Employees must maintain a clean and professional appearance while on duty
