    Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

    Works independently with general supervision to create the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products. Performs a variety of duties related to sanitation and cash register duties.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Welcomes and connects with every customer to provide excellent customer service in the selection and purchase of specialty beverages, coffee, sales and merchandise.

    • Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders to Starbucks standards.

    • Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication with all customer and associate interactions.

    • Maintains sanitary condition of equipment and work areas, performing cleaning tasks in accordance with assigned duties.

    • Performs equipment maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance checklist.

    • Maintains quality store operations by following standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.

    • Works as a team player and maintains customers' rights (confidentiality, privacy, safety, security, and decision making)
