Position Overview:

The Barista prepares handcrafted beverages and food while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role takes customer orders, operates the point-of-sale system, maintains a clean and organized store, and helps create a welcoming experience for every customer. Baristas work collaboratively with team members while following Starbucks standards for quality, safety, and service.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare handcrafted beverages and food to company standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers.
• Take customer orders accurately and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash and payment transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Restock products and supplies as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow Starbucks standards for quality, store safety, and security.

Requirements:

• No previous experience required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least one day of weekend availability required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform a variety of store tasks during each shift.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay Range: USD $17.75 - USD $17.75 /Hr.
