Job Title: Barista
Location: Chez Peachy
Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time


Position Overview


We are looking for a reliable, positive, and team-oriented Barista to join our team. This role is essential to daily operations and requires someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, matcha beverages, and seasonal specialty drinks with consistency and quality
  • Follow drink recipes and presentation standards
  • Take customer orders and handle payments using POS system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workspace
  • Assist with opening and closing duties
  • Support kitchen team when needed (including light prep or packaging)
  • Keep up with high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy and speed
  • Provide friendly, welcoming customer service at all times
Requirements


  • Availability to work shifts starting at 8:00 AM
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous barista or food service experience 
  • Familiarity with espresso machines, milk steaming, and matcha preparation
  • Experience in high-volume environments
