The Position: Bartender

Our food and beverage program has earned an outstanding reputation thanks to the talent, dedication, and personality of our team. As a Bartender at The Willcox, you will play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences through warm hospitality, handcrafted cocktails, and knowledgeable service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys engaging with guests in a polished yet welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, attentive service that makes every guest feel welcome and valued
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages with consistency and care
• Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including seasonal features and specialty offerings
• Offer thoughtful recommendations and confidently describe menu items to guests
• Assist with food service as needed and ensure a seamless guest experience
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism behind the bar

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine smile
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to regularly navigate stairs and steps
