The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional service to all guests who approach the bar, maintaining a clean and fully stocked bar area, and supporting banquet operations as needed. This role requires professionalism, accuracy in cash handling, and strong guest service skills.
- Interact professionally with all guests, including high profile individuals and celebrities.
- Greet and welcome guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Serve as a brand advocate by providing accurate information about venues, menus, and pricing.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glassware, refrigerators, and equipment.
- Acknowledge, greet, and engage with guests who approach the bar.
- Prepare and pour all types of beverages for guests and cocktail servers (with valid Union Pour Card).
- Process cash transactions accurately, including making change and providing receipts.
- Convert cash to coin for guests playing slot machines in the bar area.
- Follow all cash handling policies; may not work from another person's cash drawer.
- Uphold the highest level of integrity and adhere to all standards required by a regulated business.
- Minimum 6 months of prior Bartender or Bar Apprentice experience
- At least 1 year of previous money handling experience
- Knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to work effectively with guests, coworkers, and the public
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to accurately count money and provide change
- Schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Hourly wage: $6.13 per hour plus tips
