    Description

    This position will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain management in our Independence, OR facility. Responsibilities include managing supply chain beginning with raw materials and ending with delivery of finished product to consumers. Coordinate with Materials & Traffic Personnel in Waconia, MN on supply chain related matters.

    • Responsibilities will include minimizing the cost of the flow of goods from raw material vendors to delivery of our product to our customers.
    • Meet customer delivery requirements for our products.
    • Monitor transportation cost standards. Ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available to support production.
    • Maintain a safe work environment and accountability for safe work practices.
    • Establish and maintain records to evaluate scheduling procedures.
    • Responsible for the procurement and expediting of component parts and raw material used in the manufacture of our product lines.
    • Develop and maintain delivery schedules to meet production requirements.

    Participate in meeting with vendors and resolving issues related to timely delivery of materials.

    Communicate internally to appropriate departments regarding matters related to materials and delivery schedules.

     Experience in a strong process improvement environment that utilizes Six Sigma, Toyota Production System and/or Lean Manufacturing.

    • BA required.
    • Must be a highly organized self-starter.
