Overview

Join a dynamic opening team in a historic renovated building with a unique concept! The Cambria Hotel Boston Logan Airport is seeking a Bartender to deliver engaging, knowledgeable, and efficient bar service.

Position Summary

The Bartender prepares and serves beverages while creating a welcoming experience for hotel guests and local patrons. This position requires strong beverage knowledge, an outgoing service style, accurate transaction handling, and consistent attention to bar cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities

·      Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards

·         Greet and engage guests while providing friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service

·         Explain beverage offerings and make recommendations based on guest preferences

·         Accurately enter orders and process guest checks, room charges, credit cards, and cash transactions

·         Maintain proper bar setup, stocking levels, garnishes, glassware, and service supplies

·         Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, workstations, and guest-facing areas

·         Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service procedures

·         Communicate effectively with servers, culinary team members, and supervisors

·         Complete opening, closing, stocking, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities

·         Assist with inventory organization and notify leadership of low-stock items or product concerns

·         Respond professionally to guest questions or concerns and seek supervisory assistance when appropriate

·         Maintain compliance with Cambria/Choice Hotels standards and all property policies and procedures

Qualifications

·         Previous bartending experience required

·         Working knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and standard bar procedures

·         Outgoing personality with strong guest engagement skills

·         Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

·         Strong attention to accuracy and responsible alcohol service

·         Evening, weekend, and holiday availability
